Clubroom
rules
(MOAS 27, 28)

Tenants can use the clubrooms in above mentioned houses every day from 08.00am till 10.00pm
unless the clubroom is reserved for a private occasion e.g. birthday party, Christmas party etc.
Clubrooms' newspapers ordered by MOAS are to be read only in the
clubroom. Tenants can bring their own magazines to the clubrooms for other
people to read.
One should follow the MOAS regulations and the following special
regulations in the clubrooms. MOAS also points out that users = tenants themselves are responsible for the use of clubroom, tidiness of the premises and condition of
the equipment. If any faults turn up, MOAS has to consider closing the clubroom temporarily.
Principles of arranging private occasion:
- in private occasions you should follow
the MOAS regulations
- booking of a private occasion should be made at least
one week before the occasion with the area janitor
- the person who booked the clubroom is
responsible to MOAS for the condition of the premises, the furniture and cleaning
of the clubroom after the occasion or next day at the latest
- during
a private occasion, one should avoid excessive noise and the occasion can last till 10.00pm or
even longer with express permission of tenants living above the clubroom
- the furniture and the equipment in the
clubrooms are at everyone's disposal
- smoking in the clubrooms is prohibited on grounds of the
Finnish tobacco law
- if something is discovered to be broken
because of a private occasion, the person who booked the clubroom is fully responsible, in other words he/she will pay the damages
- the person who booked the clubroom is
also responsible for his/her guests
- the person who booked the clubroom should put a notice of the private occasion on the door of the clubroom at least
two days before the occasion so that other tenants will know it in time. Clubrooms
are closed to other tenants during private occasions
